Mobile Access
Wedping doesn't have a native mobile app yet, but it's fully adapted for mobile browsers. You can add a shortcut to your event directly on your phone's home screen for quick, app-like access.
Why Add to Home Screen?
- One tap to open your event — no navigating through a browser.
- Looks and feels like a native app on your phone.
- Bookmark a specific event so you land right where you need to be.
iPhone (Safari)
- Open Safari and navigate to your event in Wedping.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Give it a name (e.g. "Sarah & Mike's Wedding") and tap Add.
Tip: Make sure you're on the specific event page you want to bookmark, not the main dashboard. The shortcut will open directly to whatever page you were on when you created it.
Android (Chrome)
- Open Chrome and navigate to your event in Wedping.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner.
- Tap Add to Home screen.
- Give it a name and tap Add.
FAQs & Common Gotchas
Bookmark a specific event
Navigate to the event you want before adding to your home screen. If you manage multiple events, you can create separate shortcuts for each one.
Must use Safari on iPhone
The "Add to Home Screen" option is only available in Safari on iOS. If you use Chrome or another browser on your iPhone, open the link in Safari first.
