When composing a message, you can insert personalization variables that get replaced with each guest's actual information when the message is sent. This means you write one message, but every guest receives a version with their own details filled in.

If a guest is missing a field used in your message, the variable will be replaced with an empty string. For example, if you use {{last_name}} and a guest has no last name on file, it will simply be left blank.
You can preview how your personalized message will look for specific guests before sending. This is a great way to catch any issues with missing data.
