Collecting RSVPs

Guests find their name, tell you which events they're coming to, and answer any questions you ask. Every response lands in your guest list, so you always know who's coming.

Two ways to collect RSVPs

Open your event and go to Guests → RSVP. You'll pick one of two options:

Collect on your website (recommended)

Click Open website editor to add an RSVP section to your wedding website. Guests RSVP in the same place they read your schedule and travel info. New to the website? Start with the website guide.

Collect on a shareable link

Click Set up RSVP Collector to create a standalone RSVP form with its own link. Good if you don't want a website, or you want to embed the form on a website you already have.

Set up the events guests RSVP to

Guests RSVP to each event separately, so a guest can say yes to the ceremony and no to the welcome drinks. Add and edit events in the Events tab (or from the RSVP form editor). For each event you can:

  • Set the name, start and end time, venue, and address.
  • Turn Collect RSVPs for this event off for events that don't need a headcount. They're skipped on the form.
  • Choose Who's invited? Pick Everyone or Specific guests, so the rehearsal dinner only shows up for the people invited to it.
  • Add questions like meal choice, dietary restrictions, hotel, or song requests. Answers can be free text or a list of options.

The Events tab appears once your website or RSVP form is turned on.

Designing the standalone form

If you chose the shareable link, click Open editor. The editor has three tabs:

  • Form: the title, greeting, which events are on the form, and the messages guests see after they accept or decline.
  • Style: a photo, colors, fonts, and whether to show the date and location.
  • Settings: turn the page on or off, set a date to lock RSVPs, and choose how guests find their name.

Changes save when you click Save.

Sharing with guests

  • Send a message (recommended) opens Messages with an RSVP text and link ready to go. See the first text blast guide.
  • Copy the link and share it however you like.
  • Standalone form only: copy the embed code from the editor to put the form on your own website.

Your RSVP link needs an event web address. If you don't have one yet, set it up in Settings first.

Seeing who's coming

  • The RSVP page shows how many guests are attending, have declined, or haven't replied yet.
  • Your guest list has an RSVP column for each event. Click Download CSV to export it for your caterer or seating chart.
  • Open any event in the Events tab and go to its RSVPs tab for that event's list.
  • Nudge the guests who haven't replied by texting a group of them.

FAQs & Common Gotchas

Guests have to be on your guest list

Guests RSVP by finding their name. If they aren't on your list, they'll see “We couldn't find your name.” Add them to your guest list and they can try again. Need to gather names and contact info first? Use the contact collector.

Guests can change their RSVP until you lock it

After submitting, guests can come back and click Update RSVP. Set a Lock RSVPs date when you need final numbers. After that date, guests are asked to reach out to you directly for changes.

Plus-ones

If you added an unnamed plus-one for a guest, the guest can fill in their name when they RSVP. They can do this once. After that, you can edit the name in your guest list.

The RSVP link shows a “not found” page

The form is turned off. Open the editor, go to Settings, turn on RSVP page enabled, and click Save.
