Ready to reach your guests? Wedping makes it easy to compose a message, pick your audience, and send it out in just a few steps.
From your event dashboard, click on the Messages tab. This is where you'll compose, send, and track all of your text blasts.
Click + New Message to open the composer. Type your message in the text area. Keep a few things in mind:
Not ready to send yet? Your message is automatically saved as a draft. You can come back to it anytime from the Messages tab, where you'll see it listed under your drafts. Edit, add recipients, or finish composing whenever you're ready — nothing is sent until you hit Send.
You can choose who receives the message in two ways:
Select one or more guest groups. All members of the selected groups will receive the message. Guests in multiple selected groups only receive it once.
Choose "All Guests" to send the message to everyone on your guest list who has a valid phone number.
Before sending, you'll see a summary showing:
When everything looks good, click Send. Messages are delivered within seconds.
You can also schedule messages to go out at a specific date and time. Check out the Scheduling Messages guide for details.
When guests reply to your messages, their responses show up right in Wedping. You can respond, get text notifications, and manage everything from one place.
Read: Message Replies →Wedping supports messaging to many international phone numbers. If a guest's country isn't supported for SMS, Wedping automatically falls back to email delivery when an email address is on file.
Read: International Numbers →Guests who don't have a phone number on file won't receive text messages. You'll see a count of unreachable guests in the send summary.
Messages can be up to 600 characters. For the best guest experience, we recommend keeping them shorter.
To ensure deliverability, always prefix URLs with https:// or http://. Text spam filters may flag messages with non-prefixed URLs (e.g. google.com instead of https://google.com).
Once you hit Send, the message goes out immediately. Double-check your content and recipient list before sending.
