The contact collector is a shareable form your guests use to give you their phone, email, address, and anything else you need — so you don't have to chase it down one text at a time.
Instead of asking each guest for their address over text, you share one link (or QR code). Guests open it, find their name, fill in what you need, and submit. Their info lands straight in your Guest List — no spreadsheet to merge, no responses tab to sift through.
Open your event and go to Guests → Collect Info. From there you can:
Once your form is set up, copy the link or grab the QR code from the Share card. Common ways to send it:
Under How guests access the form you pick one of three modes:
Guests find themselves by searching their name. If their name isn't on the list (typo, nickname, plus-one you didn't know about), they can still submit and you'll review the entry before it joins the guest list.
Only people you've already added can submit. Best when your list is locked down and you don't want anyone with the link to add themselves.
Anyone with the link submits without matching a guest. Best when you have no pre-built list. Less recommended for weddings, since plus-ones and family members get harder to keep straight.
Every submission updates the guest's record directly in your Guest List. There is no separate “responses” tab to check — open Guests, and the phone, email, address, or custom attributes you collected are right there on each guest, ready to use for messaging, RSVPs, or anything else.
If you're using Guest list + self-register and someone submitted without matching the list, you'll see a banner above the guest list with a Review button — accept or decline each pending entry before it joins.
If a guest's plus-one is known, they fill in both names on one form. The plus-one is created on the same family, sharing the same address.
If a guest submits twice — say they realize they put in the wrong phone number — the second submission updates the same guest record. You won't end up with duplicates.
When a guest fills in their address, it's saved to everyone in their family on your guest list. That way you don't need to collect it from each plus-one or family member separately.
