Importing Your Guest List from RSVPify
Moving from RSVPify? Download your invite list and upload it to Wedping as is. We convert it for you, keeping groups, plus ones, tags and RSVPs.
Step 1: Download Your Invite List from RSVPify
- Open your event's Invite List on RSVPify.
- Click Export. Choose All columns and All rows.
- Click Download Spreadsheet and save the file. Don't edit it first.
Step 2: Upload to Wedping
- Open your event's Guest List page and click Import guests.
- Click Upload File and choose the file you downloaded.
- When we ask where your list is from, choose RSVPify.
- Match each RSVPify event to an event in Wedping, or let us create it.
- Review your guests, then click Add to list.
What Carries Over
Names and emails
Each person on your RSVPify invite list becomes a guest in Wedping.
Groups
Guests in the same RSVPify group are linked, so one person can RSVP for everyone. Guests someone brought along join that person's group.
Plus ones
A number in Additional Guests becomes that many plus ones. "Unlimited" doesn't carry over, so set those plus ones in Wedping.
Tags
Each tag becomes a group in Wedping.
RSVPs for each event
Attending and declined replies carry over for each event. Guests who haven't replied stay unanswered.
Good to Know
RSVPify doesn't export phone numbers
Wedping texts your guests, so you'll want numbers. Import first, then collect numbers with a contact collection link.
Always check the preview
The conversion uses AI. It works well, but it isn't perfect. Nothing is added until you confirm, and you can uncheck anyone first.
Importing again is safe
Guests that match someone already on your list, by phone, email, or name, are updated instead of added twice.
