Importing Your Guest List from With Joy
Moving from With Joy? Export your guest list and upload it to Wedping as is. We convert it for you, keeping parties, tags, plus ones and RSVPs.
Step 1: Export Your List from With Joy
- Open your Guest List on With Joy.
- Click Export All Guests in the toolbar.
- Save the file. Don't edit it first.
Step 2: Upload to Wedping
- Open your event's Guest List page and click Import guests.
- Click Upload File and choose the file you exported.
- When we ask where your list is from, choose With Joy.
- Match each Joy event to an event in Wedping, or let us create it.
- Review your guests, then click Add to list.
What Carries Over
Names, emails and phone numbers
Each person on With Joy becomes a guest in Wedping.
Parties
Guests in the same Joy party are linked, so one person can RSVP for everyone.
Tags
Each tag becomes a group, without the emoji. "🅰️ List A" becomes List A. Guests tagged Kids are marked as children.
Plus ones
A party's unnamed guest becomes a Plus One for the guest above it.
RSVPs
Joyfully Accept and Regretfully Decline carry over for each event. Guests who haven't replied stay unanswered.
Addresses
Street, city, state, postal code and country carry over.
Good to Know
Always check the preview
The conversion uses AI. It works well, but it isn't perfect. Nothing is added until you confirm, and you can uncheck anyone first.
Importing again is safe
Guests that match someone already on your list, by phone, email, or name, are updated instead of added twice.
